21 June 2010 Minister Andrews officially opens childcare facilities in Gorey and Taghmon

Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Barry Andrews, T.D. today (June 21) officially opened two childcare facilities in Wexford.  The combined spend on the two centres, Gorey Community and Youth Childcare Centre and Teach Spraoi Community Childcare in Taghmon, amounts to just over €2 million.

18 June 2010 Minister Andrews announces the publication of the Health (Amendment) Bill 2010

The Health (Amendment) Bill 2010 was published by the Government today.The main purpose of the Bill is to strengthen the legislative base for the provision of information by the HSE to the Minister for Health and Children and to make sure that such information can be used by persons appointed by the Minister to undertake reviews, inquiries etc.
